Installing a power antenna on a honda

I bought the hirschmann power antenna that is available from pelican. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro. Jack Stands. You are going to find that new Hirschmann fits like dung. The fender is different and I have two incorrect antennas in a cabinet to prove it. The fender angle is steeper and requires a taller base. Start searching e-bay and the parts section here. This one is in very good condition and it comes will all the correct fender mounting hardware and seals as shown on the fender below. This original power antenna has been inspected, cleaned, lubricated, adjusted, and tested in our shop. This one is in super nice condition. See the video below for the process. Wire is a Constant Ground. TIP: Many power units have a plug that you can cut off and wire to your new power unit so you can plug it directly into the factory plug. Use this method if has a plug that you can cut off. Connect the wire that runs to the radio for reception, the large black wire from the new power unit. Other than putting the interior trim back, your New Power Unit should now Work.
